Patrick Eidman, Manager of the Endangered Places Program, was first introduced to the spectacular diversity of Colorado’s historic built environment in the summer of 2008 while working on the historic schools survey.  This work, combined with a lifelong connection to sustainable agricultural production informs his passion for the protection of rural cultural landscapes and preservation of historic, walkable downtown districts and neighborhoods.  Patrick holds a B.A. in City and Regional Planning from Sonoma State University, and has an extensive background in small business management and community activism.  As the Endangered Places Program Manager, Patrick enjoys the opportunity to raise awareness for threatened historic resources across Colorado and also to support local, grassroots preservation action.  His newest initiative includes providing preservation expertise to school districts considering replacement of their historic buildings.
